Key Responsibility

Support the Head of Audit and SAMs when necessary in the evolution of the GIA risk assessment and creation of a suitable audit plan assigned portfolio;
Depending on their understanding of the company, suggest audits for coverage during the audit cycle; and
Play their part in conformity with the Audit Charter, stay free from intervention and autonomous from management.
Help the Head of Audit to properly control the expenses of allocated audits inside the given budget for audit activities.

Point up areas where audit work should be improved.
For allocated audit tasks, either serve as team member or team leader; alternatively, lead the more complicated audits including cross-functional and multi-location high risk audits.
Make sure audit deliverables satisfy GIA methodology quality criteria and deadlines;
Provide inputs to the audit scope—including the Audit Planning Memo and Process Risks Controls Matrix—that the Audit Lead has recommended;
Understanding the primary risks developing, track the execution/delivery of the agreed issues and action plans assigned, offer guidance on issue resolution to auditees/action plan owners, and escalate audit findings that still unresolved.

Quilfaction

1. 7 years minimum experience in the banking sector and audit background
2. Good audit experience, ideally in areas of Treasury and Finance.
3. ideally knowing IFRS 9, model values, and Bank interest rate risk management techniques.
